Hawai'ian Koa

This is a bottomless box made from 1/2 inch Koa. It is lined with a 3/4 inch plywood box to hold the wood and protect the rare Koa exterior. Only a modest, hand-rubbed finish was applied to bring out the character and beauty of this spalted and figured wood.
